If you are into Voodoo then you are going to want this piece. This piece is of African origin and is made entirely of genuine garnet. It is a beautiful piece, but the beauty pales in comparison to the sheer power that this piece puts in your hands. I'm talking and the pure, unadulterated power of the Earth.

For those of you who do not know, the origins of all Voodoo lie in Africa. This includes Santeria, which is a religion very similar to Voodoo. The ancient African people held a divine and deep-rooted connection to the Earth, the spirits of the Earth, and the energies of the Earth.

The spirits of the Earth are those that are spoken about in the Bible. They were moving along the waters when God thought it would be better to create land. They adapted to their new surroundings, becoming more naturalistic entities-- using the waters and the vegetation, even the animals to create their new magic. These are the rituals that were passed down to the Yoruba people, whose beliefs and systems of magic eventually went on to influence religions like Vodun and Santeria.

However, at home in Africa, they still adhere to many of the same principles as they always have. They've been modernized a bit, but the basic tenets of their magic remain the same. What we are here to offer is a piece that holds the magic of what we call the Voodoo Talking Head.

The Voodoo Talking Head is actually a Yoruban talking head, but not too many people know what we are saying when we say Yoruban, so we went with Voodoo instead. The Voodoo talking head is exactly what it sounds like. It is a head that speaks. It was created during a Yoruban purification and preservation ritual. In traditional Voodoo fashion, it included lots of blood.

The head was perfectly preserved and is now immortal. It was created with magic along the lines of what a Voodoo Doll would be made with. The head is essentially just that. It is a human head that was turned into a tool so that way the Yoruban had a method of communicating with their gods and goddess.

The head now holds the knowledge of all the gods and goddesses, including those that are referred to as Loa in the Voodoo religion, or the Ochas and the Santos in Santeria. The piece that we have holds a spiritual and direct connection to the talking head. The had not only has the ability to communicate the knowledge of the ancient Yoruban spirits but it also the ability to speak things-- for example, magic-- into existence.

When you use this piece you will meditate with it. The Talking Head will speak things into existence that you ask it for. This could be a spell that you want it to cast for you. This could be a power that you wish to acquire. This could be something that you want to experience in your life. Whatever the case may be, you will simply communicate your request to the Talking Head and it will make sure your request is obliged.
