I have a piece that we found at the Underground Auction that I've been working with for the past several months. It was created by the reincarnated immortals. The reincarnated immortals aren't physically reincarnated. Rather they are spiritually reincarnated. Or, I suppose you could refer to it as astral reincarnation. Whatever you want to call it, it's the type of reincarnation that the reincarnated immortals received.
Either way, when I began using this piece there was a biotag on it. For those of you who don't know, a biotag is kind of like soul remnants that can tell you who has accessed the piece for its magic. Not all pieces have a biotag, but some do. A biotag was put on this piece on purpose. This way, somebody who has really been trained in magic would be able to tell that it has come from them. This is what led me to the reincarnated immortals. Again, this is a separate piece that I will be listing, not the Buddha itself. However, you have to understand the first to get to the second.
The piece that I was testing allowed me to ascend into a utopian realm of consciousness, where the minds of many ascended buddhas reside. They exist within a network of knowledge that is constantly being added to as more and more buddhas ascend into the realm. We use the term buddha loosely because there are actually some beings there that aren't buddhas, but they still have achieved nirvana. Some of them are monks or just people who practice the ancient ways.
Either way, when I first used the piece to ascend I was greeted by Budai, who is commonly referred to as the laughing buddha. He is the fat buddha that we typically think of when saying the name buddha. He was seated at a table and stretched out before he was all types of food and drink. He has maids that fed him and servants that did his bidding. As the buddha of abundance, he sat counting his coins at the table with an inviting grin on his face. He acknowledged me and invited me to sit with him.
On the table was a stone with an inscription. He told me to pick it up, so I did. When I did I could see the entire universe. It stood still and Budai was standing beside me. He told me that with the piece that I held in my hand I could wish for anything in the universe and it shall become mine. He told me that I could accomplish any feat, learn any knowledge, acquire any magic, visit any place, etc.
He said something about having to finish counting his coins and then he shouted something in what I'm assuming was Chinese and waved his hand. When I awoke I was back in the mortal realm. The stone had turned into this Buddha and I was still wearing the piece that allowed me to ascend in the first place. I spent a little time working with the buddha as well. He accepts offerings of coins and incense When you give him offerings he will grant wishes for you.
This ability is directly linked to Budai and is controlled by him. He has final authority, but 99% of the things you could possibly wish for will come true. This could be granting yourself wealth, changing your destiny, granting beauty, becoming more intelligent, becoming magically inclined, gaining knowledge that you've always wanted, fame, sexual gratification, or just about anything that comes to mind.
