6-10-09 Merrows are extremely wealthy and they are a little like mermaids. They are both male and female (not at the same time) and will marry and stay with humans.
Many of the wealthy Irish families have come from these beings. These same families have a slightly different genetic make up then other families do.
This is because they have entertained or married a Merrow breed.
Having come from the Irish sea and being around for almost ever they have their own sort of magic,life and even access to areas that have long ago sunk.
In some of these areas it is much like Atlantis with a wealth of information and power to be had. Like ship wreck searcher they too gather. The main thing with the Merrows is wealth.
All of these are female the male ones can be dangerous and often show themselves to bring death to an enemy.
