This piece holds the presence of the 42 Divine Judges that sit in the Hall of Osiris who help him judge the souls of the dead. These 42 judges can see into the mind, heart, and soul of the deceased, and ultimately Osiris decide whether or not to send the spirit to Aalu-- the Egyptian Elysium-- or feed their soul to Ammit.
