A Grand Fairy is like your typical fairy except they are affluent in all types of fairy magic-- wealth, healing, soothsaying, spellcasting, psychic abilities, etc. Grand Fairies are also more powerful than your typical fair and their magic is far more concentrated.
The fairy that this piece houses is named Claudette and you can summon her by using that name. When you own this piece she will make your home her own. You will catch her flitting about out of the corner of your eye and she might even appear to you in full form once she warms up to you. Either way, you can summon her for her magic-- whatever you may need-- and she will always deliver.
