Anymore we all have to worry about how we punish our children, for fear that we will be thrown in jail for child abuse!
My friend Beth is divorced and has 3 children. Since her divorce, 8 years ago, it has been crazy trying to co-parent with her ex-. They do not see eye to eye on how to parent sometimes.
Her son Chris was supposed to be staying with his dad the other night, but asked if he could stay with her because he wanted to hang out with his friends that live near her house.
Fred, her ex-, and her said it was okay, but Beth worked til 9:30 that night. She would only be home around 10:15, but wanted to make sure that her son met his 9:30 curfew by texting him while at work.

He acted as if he did nothing wrong and was just with his friends. Beth was so mad, but she doesn't believe in hitting her kids.
She slept on it and was so angry that she took away his bike privileges; he loves to ride BMX and he was grounded for 2 weekends.
