This piece is for those of you who are curious. It is for those of you who know that there is something more to life than meets the eye. The piece once belonged to an eccentric old lady name Charlene She was the nicest person and had a heart of gold. However, in all the years that I've known her, she's never not had a question about something. In all the years that I've known her, I've never known her to be anything or anyone other than Charlene-- the lady down the road with snow-white hair, who tends to her chickens during the day.
There was much more to her than that. She was a type of entity that is called a Jumper. A Jumper is an entity that has the ability to open up mortals within their mind through which they can jump into any time period, place, or universal destination that they so choose. This is an innate ability that is born in some people. For them, it is as natural as breathing air is for the rest of us. They just open portals with their minds and they are whisked away to wherever it is they want to go. Sometimes they go just for the experience. Sometimes they go for answers. Other times they go to acquire a certain power or ability they desire.
Charlene was a jumper, but not immortal. When she passed away, her powers were placed in this piece. This is a development piece. What I mean by that is that it will take two weeks of bonding time to be able to begin using it. At first, it will only allow you to travel in your mind. You will be able to travel to wherever you want-- ancient Atlantis, the Egyptian Pyramids, Orion's Belt, the jungles of Peru. It's like astral bilocation within your mind.
As time progresses these powers will become more and more conentrated and potent. after a period of about two years, you will be able to use this piece to physically open up portals and travel in the flesh to any place that you want. This is different from most other pieces like it, becuase although it might take some time, this piece actually allows you to travel in the flesh, which is a rare ability among humans.
