If you're anything like me, I've sure you've heard the age-old addage that life isn't all sunshines and roses. You've also probably heard of people seeing things through "rose-colored" glasses. It's as if roses have some innately good energy that allows you to be perfectly content with your life regardless of your circumstance.
I don't know if that's true. In fact, I'm pretty sure that it's not. What I do know for certain is that this piece holds the spirit of Shiva. Shiva is a warrior god who is also known as the Great Destroyer. Look, we've all been there. We've made a mistake or two, or twenty. We wake up in the morning and look at ourselves in the mirror while thinking, "Where did it all go wrong? Like, what in this life have I done that warrants the awful vile things that have become my life?" Then, you go to the kitchen, turn on your Keurig, and make yourself a double brew to carry with you to work. Why? Because you're not a quitter, dammit!. That's why!!
