This piece is not a transformation. Having said that, in some aspects, it might feel like one. The difference is with a transformation the powers are exclusively yours. With this piece, you are allowing a foreign entity to share your body (you remain in full control) and in return, you are going to share her power. The entity will only use your body for an hour per day and it will be when you are sleeping. She simply needs it as a springboard into the mortal world.
The entity is an ages-old vampire queen. We aren't sure exactly who she is, but she calls herself Ambrosia. If that's her real name is anybody's guess. What we do know is that she carries Vladimir Tepes' bloodline, so whether that is before he was born or after is up in the air. It's still pretty cool though to think that with this piece you are going to own an actual part of Vlad Tepes' bloodline.
As I said, as a reward for allowing Ambrosia to use your body as a launching pad, she will share her powers with you. She will leave a footprint o her presence inside of you, which will allow you to access the magic. This magic includes your standard sanguine vampire magic, except it is a bit more powerful than our run-of-the-mill vampire magic because of the bloodline that it comes from. It also holds an especially strong power of seduction for whatever reason.
