THE SANHEDRINS SIN + PURE WHITE LIGHT

Generally speaking, Christianity abounds.  It hasn't always been this way, however.  The early followers of Christ saw very difficult times.  They were persecuted by many kings and rulers.  You have to understand that the newly converted Christians were once followers of the Jewish faith.  Thus, they were rule by two governing bodies.  First there was the Sanhedrin, which was the official Jewish court.  Then, they also had to follow the governance of the Roman Empire.  When Jesus came along 33 years after his birth and was like, "I'm the Messiah," it created not only dissent among those Jews who didn't believe he was the Messiah at all, but also political turmoil for those in control of Rome.  Religion is an extremely powerful subject, so it threw the government of Rome into a frenzy as Christ began to gain more and more followers they feared political upheaval.  Thus the Roman Senate and the Sanhedrin had kind of the same goal in getting rid of Jesus, which they eventually did.  The persecuted an innocent man, simply because he claimed to be the Messiah of the Jews.  What you believe is neither here nor there, the fact that he was innocent and was only killed to serve a political agenda should be enough to show you that the Sanhedrin was a shady group of folks. 

Even after Christ was crucified, his followers were ardent about what they believed in and felt.  One by one, the Sanhedrin would take them out.  Yes, some of it was done by the hands of kinds and other rulers, but they were all backed by the Sanhedrin.  It is a political fact, you can look that much up.  My point is that many of the holies of Christ suffered and were even martyred for their loyalty to God and Jesus.  This is the basis for the magic in the piece that that we are offering.  Let me just begin by saying that this piece isn't actually from those times.  Actually, we are part of an underground group that is invited to see different types of magical items and holy relics.  We were invited to see what the undergrounders call the prosecuting blade of the Sanhedrin.  It is the official blade that the Sanhedrin would use every time they prosecuted a new Christian.  See, they knew that the Christians held the real power of God and they were both jealous and afraid of it.  They noticed that the first time they martyred a prophet the blood on the blade they used to kill the martyr screamed out to God and the sword gained all of the white light power that was once inside the body of the prophet that was killed.  So, they used it again.  The same thing happened as before.  Thus, they began using the blade to murder every prophet, disciples, apostle, etc. that they could get their grubby little hands on.  They wanted to hoard all the power for themselves rather than use it in the way God originally intended it to be used.  As time went on the Sanhedrin built this blade up to one of the most unique and murderous vessels of power to every exist.  I mean, the power in it was of pure white light.  The method by which is was collected was less than stellar.  Either way, the blade gained power.  Somewhere along the line the Sanhedrin was disbanded and they lost control of the relic.  Now, the undergrounders travel with the relic for a very limited group of individuals to be able to experience.  This is how we made this piece.
