Star light, star bright,
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

As a glyph, stars define something of distinction. When we call someone ‘a star’ it is because they have reminded us of our divinity. They have communicated something we’re all familiar with, and they have helped us key into the truth about human nature’s vulnerability and power. When you get the star card, hope and healing are forming around you. Peace, serenity and emotional clearing reveal the path to a newly inspired you. You are a star, what you do is inspirational, and helps heal the planet. Be inspired because when we are inspired, we feel reborn; we are capable of great feats of strength and love.

The stars in the night sky inspire and empower us, seeing them creates a feeling of serenity and endless possibility. Ultimately the star card is about hope for the future. Receiving it inspires peace, and trust. When you get the star, you’re being reminded of your divinity. Transformation and emotional release create room for joy and love. Express your inner star power by letting go of all the misconceptions, shame, guilt, anger and sadness that you may have been holding onto, accept joy, serenity and love as your guides as you redefine yourself as a person of distinction. Cherish your ability to inspire others, and help them to find their own inner light. Share the night sky with the world, look up and be inspired.

The five sided star represents the energy of the four elements (earth, air, fire and water) and the inspiration of spirit or "soul" of man is the final point. Typically, in the star tarot the woman in the card is thought to be a Naiad, or a river nymph, and akin to the temperance card, she sifts the waters of life. In the White Light Tarot deck, the star dances to the hum of the eternal bees, her arc creates the beginning of the sacred geometry that will take her to the cosmos. The star card using Homer’s iconography according to Porphyry’s interpretation (1518) celebrates the descent of the soul into the world and its return to God and the immortals.

Reversed: You may be feeling uninspired and too earth bound. To put it bluntly, your inner couch potato is showing. You’re behaving in a discordant manner, so you’ve disconnected from possibility. You aren’t seeing the hope in a situation, or maybe you’ve chosen to ignore the possibilities which are right there in front of you. Whatever it is that is going on, when you get the star reversed it means a conscious refusal to see the good that is right a head. Cynicism, pessimism and depression are taking over the situation making it impossible to feel inspired. Boredom is just a diluted form of anger, find a way of breaking free and inspire yourself by inspiring others. When you actively engage in pursuing your dreams you inspire others and create room for inner beauty to blossom. Let go of your guilt, anger, shame and be who you really are, and inspiring being of knowledge and light.

This pin is purified with delight of the light and will bring forth the powers of the five sided start to utilize inspiration and success in your soul.
