To the Roman empire, the Germanic tribes were always kind of that pesty little brother. He comes to you and picks fights with you. When you sock him one, he runs back to his own bedroom. Be that as it may, he always decides he's going to come bug you anyhow. Then, one day your brother grows up. He's taller and stockier than you. Finally, you no longer have the upper hand and he may win the fight. This is what happend at the battle of Adrianople. The Visigoths finally rallied up enough power and enough of an army to defeat as much as 2/3 of the Roman Army. A lot of people say that this was the turning point for the Romans, that it cause their downfall. Then again, they say this about a lot of things and I'm not a professional historian. The only thing that I wish to convey in telling you this is thag up util the fight between the Visigoths and the Romans the entity in this piece was a mortal.
He fought on the side of the Visigoths and was one of their more skilled fighters. He was a roughian at heart, very broad at the shoulders, with unkempt hair and many reasons for any mortal being to be afraid of him. In fact, if you do didn't know any better you'd probably think he was a Viking, save for the fact that he never wore one of those helmits that you only ever see at the opera anymore. Despite the fact that the Visigoths largely defeated the armies at Adrianopole, no battle comes with out its casualties of war. The Visigoth hero had finally seen his last day of fighting with his tribe. He fell by the arrow that was shot through his heart. He had seen other arrow wounds in the same battle, but none of them could stop him. He was barbari and kept on fightine because he knew that the fight was his only way for his people to stay alive. Unforutnately for him, he had to be that sarcifice that would better the way for the rest of his people. It was a valient demise that he suffered, knowing that the downfall of the Roman Empire was imminent.
You might think to yourself that this was a short, pointless tale, but it is not. It is more involved that that. After the battle, a group of Romani Witches came rolling by and happened to see the body of the hero laying on the ground. I don't know if I told you his name yet or not, but it is Bruno. Anyway, this group of Romani witches came through and found him dead in a field. The leader of the band of witches found Bruno to be quite striking. She took pity on him and resurrected his being with an ancient Egyptian Necromancy spell. There was only one catch. When Bruno woke up he was no longer of mortal genetics. It took Bruno a lot of searching to figure out what exactly had happened to him, but his craving for blood told him that he couldn't simply return to his village. He'd end up killing the entire village.
His first encounter with eating actualy blood came while he was a newborn. He was in the wilderness when a deer passed by him and he could smell the blood running through its body. It made him hungry like he had never been hungry before. He let his instincts take over and found that not only could he outrun the deer, but he was also stronger than it. He ran alongside the creature, knocking it to the ground. His instincts guided him to the exact spot on the deer where he would get the most blood. He sank his fangs into the deers neck and drank the bitter blood like he had never eaten before. He found it to be mediocre. This happened to him again a few times, but with humans. He enjoys human blood to other types of blood, because it has a sweet taste to it or so he says. I've taste my own blood before when accidentally pricking my finger. I don't find it appetizing. Then again, I'm not a vampire. He is.
I'm not really sure how this piece was made or where it comes from. We got it in a trade with somebody who wanted to become an immortal. He said that the ring had brought him everything he had ever wanted, but the one thing that it will not bring is immortality. This is because Bruno doesn't grant this to people, because he sees the pain and suffering it has caused him throughout the years, only being able to watch his fellow tribesman, wife and children from afar. He watched the grow and pass and since then has always pretty much stayed to himself. He has only ever had standing relationships with two people-- the guy who summoned him into this ring and the Gypsy who created him. The gypsy is, of course, long gone, as she was a mortal herself. The guy we got this from is still alive, but their relationship was more circumstantial. When the guy was done with the piece, he gave it to us and told us it was time for us to pass it on. Well, he used it as payment technically, but you get the picture.
The point is that the presence of Bruno is cast into this piece. He was summon and entrapped during a alchemy conjuring ritual during which the former own of this piece found him in astral realms and pulled him into this ring. Bruno has always been very competitive in all that he does and is in no way shape or form willing to give that up. This is why when you get this piece, he is going to manifest his powers through you. This includes all things from superhuman strength to speed and agility. It inlcudes the opening of your vampiric third eye, that way you can have full control over all of your psychic senses, including being able to see into the future and the past, read other people's minds, control other people's minds, make things move with your mind, create powers out of thoughtforms, astral travel etc. You also gain the power of vampire alchemy, which allows you to create a multitude of spells (too many to list) that have been practiced by vampires throughout the ages. This includes beautification spells (that have been used on female vampires in seducing mortal men and vice versa), wealth spells to gain cash, sorcery spells to create power, time spells to travel in time, etc. This is all you gain when you get this piece and wear it.
Additionally, Bruno is a very loyal person, so his protection power over you is very strong. He will not allow any type of evil to afflcit your or to enter your home. You do not have to be wearing the piece to get this protection. However, to gain the rest of the powers, you must be wearing the piece. It is one of the more powerful vampire offerings we've had in a while. You wll not regret getting this piece!! It's everything you've ever wanted if vampires are what you are into!!
