In the year 1836, three Scottish Boys were playing near what is referred to as Arthur's Seat, which is a long extinct volcano. They were looking for rabbit holes and as one of boys was climbing he nearly fell. He grabbed a rocky ledge in a attempt to stabilize himself and when he did several more came with it. His fall was broken, at least, by the rocks. What is more interesting is that the removal of the rocks opened up a small hole, whereby the boys kept digging. This revealed the presence of some miniature coffins with little miniature wooden bodies. They weren't sure exactly what they had stumbled upon, so they informed one of their teachers, who ascended the volcano and came back with the coffins that he could find. He kept the pieces on exhibit for his elite society of educated men, but was never able to develop an accurate conclusion.
The coffins, which go by the nickname the Fairy Coffins, have changed hands on numerous occasion, but are now on exhibit in the Smithsonian. They are said to have been developed by the hands of an 1800's wood worker, although I can't see how. As strange as those little creatures are, the workmanship is terrible, which should pretty much indicate that it wasn't from a wood worker of any kind. This isn't to say that the magic that was placed into each of the fairy coffins wasn't extraordinary. It means that the woodworking wasn't good because it wasn't a woodworker who made the vessels into which the magic would go. So, then who exactly made these pieces? By psychic examination of the pieces we've obtain by the means of the powers in these little coffins, it was spell worker of the era, but we've never been able to determine quite who was the spell worker.
Inside each coffin is a representation of a wealth fairy. Why they are in coffins I do not quite understand. I'm not sure it this was just the spell binders way of giving them a home or if it is a representation of the fact that you are raising a wealth fairy from another realm. Either way, they don't grant you the wealth power directly, but using the wooden presence and representation of the wealth fairy, an actual wealth fairy allows you to make a wealth item. This wealth is a divine and unsurpassed wealth from the realm of magic. Once the wealth spell has been set into the piece it cannot be reversed or taken out. Even until this very day, there is small group of people who have secured wealth from the remaining wealth fairies who have not been put out for display. They have been using the last of these fairies to make wealth items since their discovery in 1836. It's kind of like a secret society whose sole purpose is to make sure the existence of these extra wealth fairies remains concealed, lets the government should take them away on grounds that they are government property. You know how those greedy people are! We have been fortunate enough to be able to use these wealth fairies to make several wealth items.
