I'm not going to say that this piece doesn't have a morbid overtone to it, because it does. However, you know we would never sell anything that is evil or would put you in any kind of jeopardy. In fact, more than morbid, this kind of just goes with the times. In the late 1800s and early 1900s came the popularity of the Frozen Charlotte Dolls. They were a type of China Doll that was named after a poem in which a young girl Charlotte refused to wear a coat during a sleigh because she wanted to show off her pretty dress. Well, needless to say that Charlotte ended up freezing to death, hence the name of the China Dolls, who appear to be glazed like a doughnut. I guess Charlotte was glazed after her fateful sleigh ride, as well. Thus the name of the doll became a Frozen Charlotte.
At this point in time, I want you to take a second to see if you can google "Frozen Charlotte Dolls." Now, I'm not a fan of dolls in any way shape or form. However, I'll be darned if those aren't some of the creepiest, most sinister looking dolls in the world. They come in all different sizes ranging from under and inch to 18 inches long. The origins of the dolls is somewhere in Germany, which doesn't surprise me, because they are always responsible for the creepy stuff!! I bet you are wondering right now what these dolls have anything to do with magic. Well, any time there is a doll, there is a potential vessel for spirits. This item comes from German witch from the Black woods, who discovered early on in being a witch, that Frozen Charlotte dolls make very good vessels for the souls that she wanted to collect. The witch who goes by the simple name, Lady B. She is a dual witch of sorts, not really dark, but not really white either. To her magic is magic and when you get magic to work for you it is a good thing, regardless of the orientation.
This piece is one that had at one point belonged to Lady B. As Lady B has practiced her magic, she has made a collection of souls that she stores in vessels that are Frozen Charlotte Dolls. There is one soul per doll and thus she had nearly and endless collection of souls that she has manged to compile in her days as a witch. Each of the souls that she has placed into one of the Frozen Charlotte Dolls contains a unique power that Lady B wanted for herself. Thus, she has conjured the soul, or I should say a duplicate of the original soul, into one of the Frozen Charlotte Dolls that she made handmade. I mean, she liked them because she likes creepy things and the fact that she could keep with attached souls that were merely orbs of the powers she wanted made her happy. It made her so happy, in fact, that she built a special realm to hide he dolls and their powers, which she called her "Doll House." It is here in this realm where she kept her frozen souls, each with their own power.
This piece is one that was made by Lady B, who still practices her magic in the Black Forest. It's a very creepy place, but she likes it, because it fits her and her magic. With this piece you will have unlimited access to Lady B's frozen souls, her library of magic that she has kept in the form of Frozen Charlotte Dolls.
