The Black Stone of Pessinus was a stone in the possession of Cybele, the creation of which is not known for certain as there exist many theories. Cybele’s worship had originally been worshipped mostly within just one place—Turkey—in 200 BC and 205 BC had been a turning point for Rome, which had been on the verge of falling to Carthage, with whom they were at war. With the threat of loss looming over Rome, Cybele’s cult had come to Rome seemed to have had an immediate effect.
Rome had defeated Carthage and other predicaments seemed to resolve in tandem, which left many no other choice other than to acknowledge and believe that Cybele and the Black Stone had protected and inspired recovery throughout Rome. Soon after, however, the stone was removed from Rome and it is unknown where it had been taken after that.
All we really know is that when it arose again, it did so in the form of a ring and it had been on a chain around the neck of a recently deceased woman whose family had been a part of Cybele’s cult. When we investigated the piece further in attempts to find out more about where it had been taken after Rome had benefitted from its power, there was very little to find but it is assumed that the piece was given away to one that Cybele trusted and then passed down from generation to generation.
Each generation that has carried the stone has been granted wealth and security.
The black stone within this piece will be grant you riches beyond imagine. Additionally, it will guard you against things bringing trouble to you and or your household as long as it remains in your possession.
This ring is sterling silver with some kind of stone. We never knew what the stone was only that the 8 others that had it never had to work again.
