A CHANGELING, PER CHANCE??

In the old world, the word Changeling took on a whole different meaning.  Changelings were evil fairy babies that were switched with human children at birth.  The new fairy baby took on the same look as the baby that was being switched, and mortals could not always tell a difference. However, if you were lucky your baby would take on certain attributes that wouldbe a tell-tale sign that they aren't human.  Either that or you could put your baby in front of a mirror. A changeling's reflection could never reflect a mortal being-- it was always the ugly being that it was at the core. Either way, once you received a changeling there was nothing you could do about it.  You could either get rid of you new changeling baby, or if you were lucky sometimes the changelings grew up to forget they were mythical beings and would live a perfectly normal life as a human.  These cases were few and far between, however, and most people ended up with changelings that they had to otherwise take care of because they couldn't really comprehend what was going on and they still saw the baby as their own. 

In today's society, a changeling has taken a slightly more sinister form and is no longer reserved for the ranks of evil fairies. Rather, Lucifer, the dark angel, has taken a liking to this changeling theory.  He is setting seeds for the end of times and the all out fight between good and evil.  In order to stand a snow ball's chance in Hell (no pun intended), he needs to have eyes and ears everywhere. He also needs to spread his influence.  He does this by replacing normal human beings with his demon soldiers.  His demon soldiers that he chose to take over this operation have spent thousands of years roving the Earth in darkness and gnashing their teeth at anything that stangs for god or holiness.  They were all too happy to take on this project for two reasons.  One, it takes them out of the darkness, if even for only one lifetime.  Two, they spent enough time among humans to be able to assimilate correctly.  Thus, nobody will ever suspect a person of being a changeling because they are doing/saying the same things that a human would do/say. 

I don't want you to make any mistkaes either.  These modern day changelings aren't just children.  They are whomever the demons choose to possess.  That's another thing.  There are no more bait and switches going on.  A demon merely chooses an individual who they wish to become and takes over their body and soul. The people around them, unless they are super astute on a spiritual level, won't even notice the difference between the old being and the new.  It really makes the times we live in dangerous because these changelings could be anywhere.  They have even been known to take over the bodies of pastors in attempts to lead entire white light congregations assunder.  It's all about spiritual warfare.
