There was A Leprechaun at Breakfast
This piece is hot off the press. I mean, I got this piece this morning at breakfast. There was this old lady sitting across the way from Deedee and I, as we were trying to have our breakfast. I first noticed her because of her size. She was a cute little thing and had to almost hang onto the table to eat her meal, because of her heighth. I was immediately drawn to her, although it took me a few minutes to realize that it wasn't just because I have a fervent fascination for midgets and short people. It was because the lady was deliberately playing psychic head games with me.
When I realized that she was trying to connect with me psychically, I looked over at her. She was obviously Irish, with pointy looking ears, rosy red cheeks and an clover brooch. In her glory days she probably had a reddish color hair, but it had now turned an ash grey color. I looked over just in time to see her flash her little green eyes at me. I immediately welled up with excitement and whispered to Deedee, "Oh my GOD!! It's a leprechaun!!" which was kind of compromising because the children at the next table heard me and just looked at me as if I was off my rocker. People nowadays are such non-believers.
Well, as is custom, I traveled back through the bathroom to the far corner of the restaurant. I like to drink iced tea with my breakfast, because I'm on a diet and it is calorie free!! Woohoo!! Anyway, as I neared the bathroom and was about to open the door, there was a flash of light and the little old lady from the table across from me was standing there right in front of me.
"I know you know what I am..." she began, "And I know who you are."
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I stammered.
"Neither really, I guess... It's just at THING," she replied. Typical Irish woman attitude. I remember my grandfather telling about his Irish grandmother with wild read hair and how her temper used to flair and that she used to sling bottles of ale across the room at people who would piss her off, so I considered this mild.
"Okay..." I began, but before I could finish she cut me off.
"I've something for you," she said, "Now hold out your hand like a good little spirit chaser."
I looked at her perplexedly and held out my hand. She dropped this piece into my out-stretched palm, and whipsered into my ear, "the luck of the Irish be with ya" and then she disappeared. I used the bathroom, came out to the car and explained to Deedee what had happened, exclaiming, "See I told you she was a leprechaun!!" When we got to the office, I immediately began testing this piece and it only took me about half and hour to realize what this piece was.
This item is an Irish wish oracle. It holds the Luck of the Irish, which is a pure energy that grants all wishes that are requested of it. It also holds the ancient source of wealth, which have given the leprechaun clans all of the treasure. This piece is extremely powerful and to bond with it, you must only keep the piece in your possession.
