The Black Sun is a well-know alchemic and occult symbol. Alchemists used the term "black sun" to refer to the first phase in the creation of the philosopher's stone. What does this have to do with the number 6? Well, the number 6 is the building block of reality. It all starts with carbon, which has six sides. It is the design of a perfect structure with maximum stability. So, carbon with its hexagonal design was purposely created as the element which is responsible for creating life in the universe.
