UPDATE: WE HAVE DONE SOME SECONDARY TESTING ON THIS PIECE AND HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THIS ENTITY IS FROM THE PARISIAN CATACOMBS. WE STILL AREN'T SURE EXACTLY WHAT TYPE OF CREATURE IT IS, BUT WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO TRACE HIS ORIGINS. THAT WOULD EXPLAIN HIS ABILITY TO TRAVEL THE UNIVERSE AND HIS OTHER INNATE DARK MAGIC QUALITIES ABOUT HIM.
If you're into dark magic, then this piece is definitely for you. This is a dark magic piece that we call the shadow crawler. We aren't quite sure where the shadow crawler has come from and we aren't quite sure what kind of entity it is. We only know two things for certain. We know that this piece isn't a demon entity. We also know that he is completely subservient to his master. His master is anyone who happens to be the owner of this piece at any given moment.
We've deduced that he is not from Hell, but honestly, that will not stop him from slithering his way down into the pits and coming back with any power that you tell him to. It isn't just the pits of Hell that this guy is concerned with. He will crawl to the oddest and most shadowy places of existence to bring you dark magic, powers, and abilities. He will travel to Seoul, the Shadowlands, or the Egyptian Underworld, of the Netherrelams, etc.
When you own this piece, you will light a candle and some incense. This will draw the shadow crawled out of his hiding spot and allow him to come forth and bond to you as his master. You can then send him to the obscure parts of the universe for those rare types of dark magic that you crave.
