When it comes to Chernobyl it’s as if the place is its own dimension. Humanity is sparse in the area but other forms of life such as vampiric lifeforms and also mutated humanoids still live among the remains. Mostly they stay to themselves, or in the case of the vampires, they hunt for their prey at nighttime. You wouldn’t even know they existed. We have offered pieces from Chernobyl before; however, this piece tells a different story. It tells a more sinister story than the actual events that went down in history.
These days Chernobyl has become a graveyard of wartime military equipment, an eerie reminder of what the Soviet Union used to be. It seems, however, that the Russian government is still working with the scientists and wartime leaders of the Coldwar. I don’t mean that these people have grown older and they are now directing new initiatives. What I’m saying is that Vladimir has a Spec Ops division of the military that explores the metaphysical. They have been able to use the radioactive energy that is leftover at Chernobyl to create a quantum door through which they can travel to the USSR.
Why would they want to do that? To resurrect something called the Novas. This is not as much of a something as it is a someone. What the Novas really are is a group of genetically modified humans that were being developed by the Russians in the 80s in an attempt to help them fight the Cold War. These were secret operatives that were pumped full of special kinds of radioactive material that genetically modified them into fatal assassins that were equipped with special abilities. These abilities include anything from mind control to time control to the ability to inject others’ minds with fake thoughts to control their actions, the ability to force people to tell the truth, the ability to make people forget, the ability to change people’s memories, the ability to charm and seduce, the ability to short circuit others bio-electrical current, and the ability to harness the power of the cosmos to create other abilities that they needed on the fly.
This program was very close to becoming launched and an entire psychological war would have results, but before this could be implemented the Novas were destroyed in the meltdown when something went horribly awry and the project was destroyed. It also ruined the Chernobyl #4 reactor and spread radioactive material through Ukraine and much of Eastern Europe. What I’m getting at by telling you all this is that Russia has gained the ability to reintroduce the Novas to the modern playing field.
The piece we are offering is the genetically modified DNA of one of the Novas. This is a genetic prototype energy that will allow you to exist as one of the original Novas existed with the abilities that I described above and more. The reason they are called the Novas is that one of the radioactive agents used to create the genome is radioactive star decay.
