This piece spent a night hanging from the Singing Oak Tree. The Singing Oak Tree is a destination in New Orleans that is oftentimes overshadowed because of the other, obvious choices of destinations. However, the tree and its powerful ability to draw in lost souls should not be overlooked. It was a tree created by stringing up chimes to its branches. When the wind blows it strikes the tunes of the pentatonic scale. It creates a vibrant hum that calls out to lost souls in the area. There are many theories behind where these souls go. Some say they are used in spirit rituals, while others claim they are set free. I guess that will remain up for debate, as we are not here to prove nor disprove those theories. Rather, we just want to offer this piece that holds the power of the energetic reverberations that are found at the Singing Oak Tree. With this piece you can use the energies that have been channeled to call out to the souls of your choosing.
